How do I book a session?

Please either click the 'Book a Session' link from the home page to complete a form or email studio@anniedonovanphotography.com to book a session! Our team will follow up directly to confirm the details from there.

Where do the sessions take place?

We are based in New York City. The sessions are done at Annie Donovan's apartment in Brooklyn Heights. While we wish we could travel to you, this style of portrait requires specific lighting and a plain background so we currently only shoot at our location.

Question 3

What should my child wear?

Accepted Answer

Given the high contrast style and black and white nature of the photos, we generally recommend a plain white or black top.

What is your refund policy?

Accepted Answer

We allow you to cancel your session free of charge up until 24 hours before. After 24 hours we do not refund the 50% deposit. While we don't offer refunds for photos after they've been taken, if you're unhappy with the photos you receive, please reach out and we can discuss options for a reshoot.

Question 5

Do you shoot siblings together?

Our focus is on individual portraits, so we do not commit to shooting siblings together. If you book sessions for multiple children, we'll happily take a few snaps at the end of both kids, but this is not the focus of our work.

Question 6

What is the turnaround time to receive the photos after the shoot?

Accepted Answer

We strive to have the edited images back to you within 3 weeks of the shoot! If you need them sooner, we offer a rush order fee of $150 to turn them around in 7 days.
